Halloween

We went to our friends neighborhood.
We have two sets of friends in this neighborhood.
Little Sofia as Lily refers to her was an adorable dragonfly
and Jakey was an awesome Buzz Lightyear.
They were kind enough to let one little witch join in their fun.
They may not be able to shake us for future Halloween's.
Wonderful food, lots of laughs, and candy candy candy.
We set off on foot friends in tow.

We picked up treats along the way.

We made sure to say thank you at each and every stop.
Then we came back and dug in.

And then the woopie cushions came out and the sugar induced hilarity ensued.

Thank you to the R. and Q. families for letting us join in the fun.
Fun was certainly had by all!!!

Happy Halloween!

There is some serious excitement in the air today!!!!!
The costume is prepared.
The pumpkins are spookified!
Now all we have to do is wait.

A certain little witch is ready NOW!!
So she indulged me in a photo shoot.

The lighting wasn't particularly cooperating

but........

We sure had fun!!!

Tonight we will be joining our friends for some festivities.
We can not wait!!!
Happy Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mama
and my babies favorite Nonnie!
Thank you for helping us raise the sweetest little witch in town.
We are truly blessed to have you!!!!
I love YOU!!!!

B-B-B Batdog!!!!!

Meet BatDog.
He came to my house on a day I could use a laugh.
I laughed til I cried.
I think BatDog takes his job very seriously!

He even did a little howling at the, moon?
Perhaps it's the Bat Call.
This is the face that says,
OK mom where's the treat you promised.

I think it was worth the complete and total humiliation.

Happy Birthday Mom & Happy Halloween!

I never shared our pumpkin carving pictures. Lily thought it was too slimy but she worked diligently to get every last seed and slime out of that pumpkin.
And on to Halloween. Nonnie the good witch made an appearance this year. She has been missing for a few years but she thought my scaredy cat could handle it this year. Lily sat her down about a week ago and said Nonnie we need to talk about your witch costume. I guess they came to some sort of understanding. Lily told her if she was too scary she would not sit next to her. You'll see she passed the test.

This is the last time the good witch came around. This is Lily's first Halloween as an American. She is newly 1 and this is also the famed evening that she finally started crawling!! Look at those cheeks!

Here is the proof! That little one is superman in the below pictures.

Okay enough of memory lane back to current events!

Miss Ava made the perfect butterfly.

Looks like superman may be trying to make an arrest.

The three goblins getting ready for the candy hunt.

Lily is so enamoured by her big cousin.

Just can't get enough of these shots.

After the treats were hunted down we came back to our house for a little birthday celebration.

This was probably not an appropriate birthday treat but is was very spooky.

Happy Birthday to Nonnie!

Halloween ends one stupendous birthday month all three of these girls turned one year older this month.

FFF Bee happy and some fun

So I have a problem you may have to check me into a facility for my addiction. I was going to try to wait until Lily's party invitations were delivered to share these pictures but as you can see I can not keep them to myself any longer. I lasted a whole week thats pretty good for me! If my sponser came to check in with me I would tell them these were not shots actually on my card so therefore it doesn't really count. RIGHT!?!

Happy Halloween Enjoy! Turn off music player for full effect.

A hint

Lily participated quite willingly in a photo shoot with her bee attire on. She is the cutest little bee I've ever seen. Her birthday is coming up and I don't want to spoil the fun. It's tradition for her to be in her costume on the invitation. But like a true person with a real addiction I am having withdrawls not posting the pictures. Here is a hint. It is really all about the tutu!!!!

Halloween Fun

We had a wonderful time Halloween Night. Lily got it this year. At first she was really scared. So scared she was shaking, but.............. candy is pretty enticing and she went from clinging tightly to Nonnie and Papa to holding a hand to just plain running up and knocking on doors all by herself. Ava was a great helper and showed Lily the ropes. I don't think we will ever have a reluctant Trick or Treater again.

Must have a full tummy in order to build up energy for tricks and treats. This is one scary vampire princess.

One pretty stargazer Lily.

The Girls. We started Halloween at Ava's school carnival.

Ava showing Lily the ropes.

Okay this is fun!

After each stop Lily had to show us all what she got.

I love these shots. A little help from Nonnie.

A little help from Papa.

Trick or Treat!

Aaaaaaahhhhhhh, oh my, you are one scary vampire princess!

My bags getting heavy.

Can't go without some ruffle butt.

Just too sweet and sassy.
