Unseasonable

This weekend the weather was just gorgeous. The sun shone and it hovered around 67 or so. I was so in need of some sun so we took the trek to the zoo for a family outing. Peter was the camera man and he took lots of pictures.
Lily on the concrete slide? It really doesn't make much of a slide.

Waiting for the main attraction the train.

There it is the only real reason for a visit to the zoo :)

This beauty was staring intently at me as if I might be her next snack.

They made a new area of the zoo special for me!

Oh well maybe I wasn't the tall wonder they were speaking of. This is Valentine and it's her birthday. She came over for a visit.

67, REALLY?! I'm green with envy. The weather man said today it was going to be a "warm" 32. I'm dying over here!! Your sweet girl is as beautiful as ever. Glad she got a fun day at the zoo!

I just love taking my daughter to the zoo but it is too cold here. You are so lucky! Presidents Day is a nice short break while waiting on summer vacation.
