Where have I been......

I have been neglecting my poor blog and my poor camera for that matter, but I have this new obsession. It started because I tried to take an online photography class, because I am not the kind of person to sit down with a manual and figure it out. So I found this website through another blogger mama and I was all set to take a class. The bad news is the class sold out in 5 minutes and I was never even able to log onto the website. (Must be a good class I'll be trying again in July.) Since I wasn't going to part with a largish chunk of change to take my class I decided to explore other classes and found a beginning digi scrap class and dove in head first. I have been wading around in photoshop figuring things out on my own. Sometimes I have wanted to throw my beloved laptop across the room. The class was super easy because I had been mucking around for months. I found easier ways to do just about everything I have tried and found things I had no idea were possible. I am so ecstatic and ready to forge forward and take the second class. I am sure that this is where you will find me on my Easter vacation.

These two layouts are the fruits of my class.
There were four altogether but these are my favorite.

Now I need to take some new pictures so I have new material before my next class. My little one better get well soon so I can take her out and annoy her with my camera.
If your interested here is the website I bought my class from.

I have always been jealous of those who can do the digital scrapbook. I love the pages you did...you really have a great eye for it!

I love for Maya to have her scrapbooks, I think doing it digital would be so much easier, once you got the hang of it. I might have to try it sometime because sitting on the floor kills your knee's and back and thats thenonly place I have to scrapbook at.

Hi Sarah, I am having problems with Blogger - this is a test to see if I can actually post comments to other sites. I tried earlier with Debbie to no avail. I am trying again :) Sorry this is so impersonal. But... I am motivated by all the beautiful stuff you do on your blog and would like to get started. :)
